TECHNICAL GROUND

We implements approaches such as:

  • Dynamic Time Series Model applying State Space modelling, Bayesian statistics and Kalman filter.

  • Logit Multinomial PLS (Partial Least Square) to improve robustness of multinomial models.

  • MCMC (Monte Carlo Markov Chain), which allows to estimate "posterior" expectations in complex problem.

  • Agent Based Model which allows to reproduce characteristics of real outbreaks and make their predictions easy to understand.

BUSINESS CASE > MARKET SHAKER


Interstat developed a creative solution of SMT (Simulated Market Test) founded on Individual Based Modeling aiming at forecasting new product predictive sales, assessing its impact on the Category as well as on the Competitors in the particular Category.

 

BUSINESS CASE > Marketing Mix Model

Interstat developed a full Marketing Mix Model including a Category Model, a Share Model, both Dynamic and Non Linear.

This MMM allows Simulation and ROI evaluation.

 

BUSINESS CASE > Application of BIG DATA to Market Research

Interstat proposes original solutions in the field of Big Data,
Big Data requires special techniques in order to specify co-occurrence,
and graphical representation such as mappings and networks.

INTERSTAT team

ALAIN PIOCHE

Co-founder of INTERSTAT in 1992 with Alain Maréchal.
Previous Nielsen Vice-President in charge of worldwide modeling, after having been
CEO of BURKE-France.
Expert in SMT, Alain Pioche published (in French: "micro-modélisation") that exposes in detail theoretical and practical foundation of MARKET SHAKER, the "agent based model" of INTERSTAT.


JEAN-PIERRE BIDON

Jean-Pierre Bidon is CEO of Intersat since 2006.

He has an extensive background in statistics and forecasting applied to marketing.

Jean-Pierre received an M.S. degree in the Polytechnique School of Paris and an MBA degree at the INSEAD institute in Fontainebleau (France).


ALAIN MARÉCHAL

Co-founder of INTERSTAT in 1992 with Alain Pioche.
Alain Maréchal received an M.S. degree in the Polytechnique School of Paris and a Ph.D degree (management) at the Paris-Dauphine University


SIMON PIOCHE

Simon Pioche is the Managing Director of Interstat since 2015. He is in charge of Marketing, Sales and Partnerships.

Simon is currently working closely with Strategir on the Market Shaker Product Development.

Simon is a Statistician Expert, specialized in mix modeling and customer experience. He is also CEO of Your Data Consulting.

Simon holds a Master degree in Statistics from the UPMC (University Pierre and Marie Curie)
